THE FROST KING

The Power of Love

Adapted from Louisa May Alcott’s (Little Women) short story
into a rhyming, singing, wriggling, buzzing, tweeting, marching,
flowering and sometimes freezing botanical battle for survival!

The Frost King has threatened endless Winter
against the plants and creatures of Spring and Summer.
Only Violet, the smallest of the fairies, is brave enough
to travel to his icy realm and try to melt his Frozen Heart
and save the Flowers and her Friends.

Along the Way, Violet must bring together:
The World’s most nervous Worm and the near sighted Mole who’ll show the way?!
An Ant and A Bee who both think they work harder -
A Bird who wants to Nest and a Butterfly that Lives for Today!
A Fearful Fly and the Spider who invites him for Dinner?

She is going to need all of our help!
One Hour to Save the World from Endless Winter!
Come along! Clap Along! Sing and Sway Along!
Be Cool! But not Cold!

“(A Moveable Theatre’s work) is just about everything one could want from a 60 minute diversion for kids. It’s got colour and music as well as a message, there’s lots of joining in and it is performed with charm and humour.”
